About the Author

Shivangi Pulst is a management professional with over a decade of
experience across diverse industries. But her first love has always been
words. What began as quiet journaling and avid reading in her teenage
years gradually unfolded into spoken word poetry, storytelling, and now,
authorship.
A Genie Named Ginnie is her debut book—a tribute not just to her
beloved dog, but to every voiceless being who enters our lives and
changes us forever. Born from deep love and even deeper loss, this
book is a call to slow down, to feel more, and to honour the invisible
threads that bind us to animals, nature, and each other.
Through her writing, Shivangi blends emotional honesty with
practical wisdom, encouraging readers to reflect on what it truly
means to be human—and how animals can show us the way.
